Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide (TP-7) structurally related to the endogenous tetrapeptide tuftsin, commonly used in basic research on neuroimmune modulation and anxiety behavior models.
Supplied as lyophilized powder, with purity confirmed by HPLC and LC-MS results published per batch.
These are common research directions only and do not constitute medical advice or claims of efficacy.
Selank's design draws on the immunomodulatory activity of tuftsin, with structural extension improving stability. Published research covers the GABA system, neurotrophic factors and anxiety-related behavioral measures.
Like most short peptides, stability after reconstitution is strongly pH- and temperature-dependent; aliquot single-use volumes for storage.

Latest batch report: VP-2405-A
Unopened: Store at -20°C, protected from light and moisture, and avoid sharp temperature swings. It is stable short-term at ambient temperature in transit; move it to cold storage promptly on receipt.
Reconstitution: Use sterile water for injection or a buffer suited to your assay. Add the solvent slowly down the vial wall and swirl gently to dissolve; avoid vigorous vortexing, which creates bubbles and can denature the peptide.
Aliquoting: After reconstitution, aliquot single-use volumes before freezing and avoid repeated freeze-thaw. Solutions containing preservatives are not suitable for cell culture; choose the solvent according to your system.
The vial label carries a unique batch number (e.g. VP-2411-A). Enter it on the COA lookup page to retrieve the HPLC chromatogram and LC-MS result for that batch; the number must match exactly.
Only the fill volume differs; purity standards and testing are identical. For a first experiment we suggest the smaller size for method validation, then ordering the larger size as needed.
Yes. Note "signed report required" in the order comments and we will include a paper copy; the electronic version can also be downloaded from the COA page.
