GHK-Cu is a complex formed between the tripeptide GHK (glycyl-histidyl-lysine) and copper ions. Copper participates in many enzymatic reactions and collagen synthesis, making this complex a common tool molecule in extracellular matrix research.
It is supplied as a lyophilized copper peptide complex with its characteristic blue colour, with purity confirmed by both HPLC and LC-MS.
These are common research directions only and do not constitute medical advice or claims of efficacy.
GHK was first isolated and identified from human plasma, and its complex with Cu²⁺ is widely used in the literature to study the regulation of collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycan synthesis.
Because copper ions are redox-active, keep reconstituted solutions protected from light and use them within a short window; prolonged standing at room temperature reduces complex stability.

Latest batch report: VP-2408-C
Unopened: Store at -20°C, protected from light and moisture, and avoid sharp temperature swings. It is stable short-term at ambient temperature in transit; move it to cold storage promptly on receipt.
Reconstitution: Use sterile water for injection or a buffer suited to your assay. Add the solvent slowly down the vial wall and swirl gently to dissolve; avoid vigorous vortexing, which creates bubbles and can denature the peptide.
Aliquoting: After reconstitution, aliquot single-use volumes before freezing and avoid repeated freeze-thaw. Solutions containing preservatives are not suitable for cell culture; choose the solvent according to your system.
The vial label carries a unique batch number (e.g. VP-2411-A). Enter it on the COA lookup page to retrieve the HPLC chromatogram and LC-MS result for that batch; the number must match exactly.
Only the fill volume differs; purity standards and testing are identical. For a first experiment we suggest the smaller size for method validation, then ordering the larger size as needed.
Yes. Note "signed report required" in the order comments and we will include a paper copy; the electronic version can also be downloaded from the COA page.
