TB-500 is a synthetic active fragment of thymosin β4 (residues 17–23, sequence LKKTETQ), used mainly for in vitro work on cytoskeletal remodelling, actin polymerisation and tissue repair.
Our product is lyophilized powder, with HPLC purity analysis and LC-MS mass confirmation completed before release and a third-party report supplied per batch.
These are common research directions only and do not constitute medical advice or claims of efficacy.
Thymosin β4 is a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid protein, and its fragment TB-500 retains the core actin-binding region. Common research areas include cytoskeletal dynamics, angiogenesis and inflammatory regulation.
Because the sequence is short, TB-500 is relatively stable in solution, but we still recommend avoiding high temperatures and repeated freeze-thaw to maintain consistency within a batch.

Latest batch report: VP-2410-A
Unopened: Store at -20°C, protected from light and moisture, and avoid sharp temperature swings. It is stable short-term at ambient temperature in transit; move it to cold storage promptly on receipt.
Reconstitution: Use sterile water for injection or a buffer suited to your assay. Add the solvent slowly down the vial wall and swirl gently to dissolve; avoid vigorous vortexing, which creates bubbles and can denature the peptide.
Aliquoting: After reconstitution, aliquot single-use volumes before freezing and avoid repeated freeze-thaw. Solutions containing preservatives are not suitable for cell culture; choose the solvent according to your system.
The vial label carries a unique batch number (e.g. VP-2411-A). Enter it on the COA lookup page to retrieve the HPLC chromatogram and LC-MS result for that batch; the number must match exactly.
Only the fill volume differs; purity standards and testing are identical. For a first experiment we suggest the smaller size for method validation, then ordering the larger size as needed.
Yes. Note "signed report required" in the order comments and we will include a paper copy; the electronic version can also be downloaded from the COA page.
